The Lake Oswego Review

The Lake Oswego Review is always at the front door of the Chamber on Thursday mornings. It's a great publication to read what's going on around Lake Oswego and find more background about how our community operates. There are always extra copies at the Chamber in case your business is featured (or your kids, employees or special issues). Call the Chamber if you want an extra copy reserved for pick up! Thanks to Pamplin Media and The Lake Oswego Review for your coverage throughout 2018 for all our Chamber events: Wine Walk, Golf Tournament, Community Awards, Networking, Tree lighting!

New Publication

This just in - Growing Oregon, the 2019 edition -a guide to the state's farms, food and markets including the Rewards of Ranching and Focus on Fishing. This publication is from the Oregon Department of Agriculture.Did you know - you can read the weekly Lake Oswego Review and The Business Journal at the Chamber office? We also have the latest from LO Parks and Recreation, Gallery Without Walls and the Lakewood Center for the Arts.

Brochures, Maps

The Chamber just received Pendleton Round-up brochures - stop by or call if you want some for your establishment. It's also that time of year to check your Lake Oswego map supply - we can bring them to Friday networking or stop by the office between 9 and 5 pm. The Chamber has brochures from all around the state of Oregon - if you have travelers coming through your business, come by and put together a collection that adds to your great service and knowledge about our city and state!

Networking at Pacific West Bank and Quarterly Fundraiser

Pacific West Bank's manager Tatiana Gostev intoduced the Bank's new CEO, Terry Peterson to the 82 attendees. He shared that the bank will be hiring 1-2 people per month and expanding to Portland in the coming year. Drop by for more information. The well-attended event included a number of first-time attendees who will consider Chamber membership: Carol Willeford, Psy.D; Grace Ishida, Elite Care; John Newton, JPS Newton; and Patrick's Children.

Christmas Tree Lighting Festival - 54 years and counting!

Early estimates are that attendance was up for this year's Tree lighting festival at Safeway and Millenium Park.

October CEO Message

The 6th Annual Wine Walk was a huge hit last Saturday (October 6). You can mark your calendar now for the first Saturday in October, 2019!

500 people visited 27 business locations over the three hour period tasking fine wines from Oregon, the West Coast and around the World. Thanks to everyone who was involved and thank you to all our participants who included locals and out-of-towners as far as Florida. Special thanks to title sponsor, Harnish Properties.

Message from Keith DickersonChamber CEOJuly and August usually means vacation time in Oregon. The Chamber has been continually active through the summer with the golf tournament (thanks to HomeStreet Bank and all our sponsors) and a lot of travelers visiting Lake Oswego for shopping, dining, walking, and picking up maps and directories at the Chamber office.Registration for the 2018-19 Leadership Lake Oswego series continues through this month.
